environmental programs cropping up all over the country, many
area businesses are instituting their own recycling programs for
commonly recyclable items such as white office paper, cardboard,
and even plastic bottles and can. Any business who recycles in
Cambria County can feel free to make use of our recycling bin
sites at any time. |

businesses with a large quantity of materials to recycle

If
you have large quantities of recyclable materials(larger than
a truck or vanload), we ask that you please contact the Solid
Waste Authority for instructions on how best to recycle bulk quantities.
You can contact us via e-mail by clicking here, or over the phone
during our business hours - Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm
- at 814-472-2109. We'll be glad to help you with your recycling

in your place of business! Whether it is the local newspaper,
magazine subscriptions, office paper, or just recyclables collected
in the break room, the staff at the Solid Waste Authority can
help you to make best use of your time and effort. |

| Reporting Recyclables to the Authority | ||
Part
of the Authority's goal is to keep track of all recycling that
occurs in Cambria County. Keeping track of data is very important
to us, and we don't want to let anyone slip through the cracks.
Whether you recycle cardboard shipping boxes or bottles and cans
from your cafeteria, we'd love to know about it! By sending us
a simple report of what materials you recycle and how much you
collect annually, we can better serve the community through new
recycling opportunities. |
