The Cambria County Solid Waste Authority, in cooperation with the Southwestern PA HHW Taskforce, Cambria County Local Emergency Planning Committee and Concurrent Technology Corp., are proud to announce our 4th annual HHW Collection event.

The event is to be held Saturday, May 17th from 9am to 1pm.

The location will once again be the CTC Environmental Technology Facility parking lot,
located at 128 Industrial Park Road in Richland Township. For directions, click here.

There will be a fee of $2 per gallon assessed for each of the following accepted items:

Aerosol Cans

Automotive Fluids (motor oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze, kerosene, brake fluid, gasoline)

Batteries

Chemistry Sets

Cleaners (Ammonia, drain openers, acid cleaners, oven cleaners)

Mercury (Thermometers, thermostats, elemental mercury)

Adhesives

Solvents

Paint Products (latex, oil-based, alkyd based, arts/crafts chemicals, resut preservatives, creosote, sealers, paint thinners, furniture strippers)

Pesticides/Garden Chemicals (pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, mothballs, fertilizer)

Photo Chemicals

Pool Chemicals

No other items will be collected at this event.
